Smartphones are part of our daily lives. We designed a smartphone with a presence in peoples’ lives similar to that of their favorite items of clothing or daily planners. The contrast between straight lines and free-form curves, the asymmetric layout, the ease of use and great specs afford the design a sublime yet endearing dissonance. We aimed for a form that would be complete the moment people had it in their hands.

毎日常に身近にあるスマートフォン。 服や手帳のように身の回りにあるお気に入りのもののような存在にできないかと考えました。 直線と自由曲線のコントラスト、あえて縦横を揃えないレイアウト、それでいて使いやすく高いスペック、その良い違和感は感覚的でどこか趣が感じられます。 人が手に持つことで完成する、そんなデザインです。
