Smartphones are part of our daily lives. We designed a smartphone with a presence in peoples’ lives similar to that of their favorite items of clothing or daily planners. The contrast between straight lines and free-form curves, natural coloring, and durable casing afford the design a sublime yet endearing dissonance. We aimed for a form that would be complete the moment people had it in their hands.

毎日常に身近にあるスマートフォン。 服や手帳のように身の回りにあるお気に入りのもののような存在にできないかと考えました。 直線と自由曲線のコントラスト、ナチュラルなカラーリング、それでいて丈夫な筐体、その良い違和感は感覚的でかわいらしさがあります。 人が手に持つことで完成する、そんなデザインです。
